You will be introduced and trained how to see with shaman’s eyes in order to perform extractions, a traditional shamanic healing method for removing localized negative intrusions from the spirit body which causes pain and illness. To do this work, skilled experience with shamanic journeying is essential. The workshop is for people who wish to incorporate extraction into their healing practice and not for personal healing. Bring your drum, rattle, journal and pen.
Workshop Info: Date : January 26-27, 2008 Contact for more information What to bring: a drum or rattle, a bandanna, cushion or blanket, a rock the size FACILITATORS Tony Allicino has studied shaman traditions with Michael Harner, Sandra Ingerman, David Corbin & Nan Moss, Tom Cowan, Christina Pratt, Elaine Egidio, and indigenous shamans from North and South America, and Greenland. For sacred rituals and ceremonies, he has served as a Gatekeeper and Water Carrier. He facilitates workshops on Core Shamanism, Fires of Transformation, and Mask of the Shadow Warrior. A founding member of the Shamanic Compass Drumming Circle, and member of the NYC Gay Men's Shamanic Circle, he is also a member of the Society of Shamanic Practitioners and will complete Sandra Ingerman's Two-Year East Coast Teacher Training Cynthia Crisp has over 35 years experience in the Healing Arts, including teaching with the Arica Institute for 18 years. Since 1991 she has studied and practiced Shamanism with Tom Cowan, Geo Cameron, Claude Poncelet, Myron Eshowsky, Carol Proudfoot, and indigenous shamans of North and South America, and is a graduate of the 3-year Advanced Training with The Foundation for Shamanic Studies. She completed a Teacher Training with Sandra Ingerman and has a private healing practice in New York City. |
